The 2015 NFL season may still be a few months away, but ESPN is getting its programming lined up now. Football is big business on television, where even the preseason matters.

The cable channel announced that it will air two preseason games as part of its “Monday Night Football” franchise: the Bills at the Browns (which is on a Thursday) and the Bengals at the Buccaneers.

Play-by-play man Mike Tirico and analyst Jon Gruden will call the games, with reporter Lisa Salters working the field.

Here’s the schedule:

Thursday, Aug. 20, 8 p.m.: Buffalo Bills vs. Cleveland Browns

Monday, Aug. 24, 8 p.m.: Cincinnati Bengals vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The games will be preceded by a one-hour warmup show, “Monday Night Countdown.”

The opening game of the regular season on ESPN’s “Monday Night Football” is set for Sept. 14.
