A new report cites five broadcast time slots that figure to be especially competitive in the fall 2015-2016 season.
Writing in Adweek, Jason Lynch singles out these five key battles:
- Mondays at 8 p.m.: CBS’s “Supergirl” vs. Fox’s “Gotham.”
- Mondays at 10 p.m.: NBC’s “Blindspot” vs. CBS’s “NCIS: Los Angeles.”
- Tuesdays at 8 p.m.: Fox’s “Grandfathered” vs. ABC’s “The Muppets.”
- Tuesdays at 10 p.m.: ABC’s “Quantico” vs. CBS’s “Limitless.”
- Thursdays at 10 p.m.: NBC’s “The Player” vs. ABC’s “How to Get Away With Murder.”
Lynch notes: “Following a season with huge scheduling moves (CBS landed ‘Thursday Night Football’; NBC moved ‘The Blacklist’ opposite ‘Scandal’), next fall’s slate is far more conservative, with only a few marquee time slot matchups on tap.”
