John Miller, the veteran award-winning, well-respected chief marketing officer for NBC Universal Television Group, will leave his post by the end of the year, after working in NBC’s marketing department for 28 years, reports Nellie Andreeva on Deadline.com.
Miller may remain at NBCU in a different role, the article says. Miller has served in his current role since May 2004 and works on marketing and cross-promotion for its 17 divisions, ranging from Universal Media Studios to cable networks such as Bravo and Syfy. He also helps oversee a marketing council for parent company NBC Universal that’s in charge of cross-company promotion, the story says.
