The pilot, for HBO, is tentatively titled "40", focuses on a group of men in New York who have just turned 40, the story says. Ellin wrote and will executive produce the pilot, which marks Burns’ first starring television role after being wooed by networks for years, the article adds.
Burns’ character is a Wall Street executive who undergoes major changes when the bank where he worked for two decades goes under, the story says.
It adds that Ellin wrote the main role for Burns, who has guest-starred several times on "Entourage."
