ABC’s “Good Morning America” is prepared for the technical challenges of broadcasting live from a nine-car Amtrak train for its “Whistle-Stop ’08” tour, TelevisionWeek reports. Throughout the week the cast and crew of the morning news show will tour the Eastern U.S. by rail and feature interviews with both presidential candidates. The tour kicks off reports from “50 States in 50 Days” by ABC News together with USA Today leading up to the presidential election, TVWeek says.
