Levi’s Sponsors Late Night on Logo

Levi Strauss & Company is spending $1 million to sponsor a new uncensored block of programming on Logo, MTV Networks’ channel aimed at the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender audience, the New York Times reports. Shows including “The Big Gay Sketch Show,” “Queer As Folk,” movies and shorts will be shown in the block, called Logo Unbuttoned, which echoes the theme of Levi’s campaign for its 501 jeans, Live Unbuttoned. The shows will also appear on the Web and will be accompanied by commercials and video clips featuring gay people wearing jeans and talking about their lives, the paper says.
