TBS averaged 701,000 viewers ages 18-34 during the first quarter of 2008, besting The CW, which averaged 696,000 viewers in the demo, Mediaweek reports. The numbers indicate a 34% increase at TBS in the coveted demographic from the same period last year, the newspaper says. The influx of young viewers is attributed to the acquisition of off-net series like “The Office” and “Family Guy,” the latter of which averages 341,000 males ages 18-34, the newspaper notes.
