Most networks are highlighting their comedies at this year’s upfront presentations in an effort to lure advertisers back to TV with laughs, Bloomberg News reports. “The comedy genre has for a few years been considered dead, but we want diversity in the schedule and we want shows that deliver the audience,” Starcom Worldwide senior VP Sam Armando tells the news service.
