When NBC balked at ordering a full season of the series “Medium,” CBS, which owns the show, put it on its own schedule, the New York Times reports. The move highlights how network decisions are affected by whether or not they benefit from syndication and other financial benefits from a series, the paper says. “Medium’s” producer, Glenn Gordon Caron, tells the Los Angeles Times he’s honored CBS wanted to take the show on.
