ABC signed former director of many “The X-Files” episodes Rob Bowman to direct its pilot “Castle,” Daily Variety reports. Additionally, Fox signed Ken Marino, whose credits include “Men Behaving Badly,” for the father role in comedy “Outnumbered,” while CBS brought in Brooke D’Orsay and Rick Peters for the Fred Savage-starring comedy “Single White Millionaire,” the newspaper says. Meanwhile, Bobby Cannavale signed with ABC to play the title role in the comedy pilot “Cupid” while Bob Odenkirk and Rachel Blanchard will appear in the CBS comedy pilot “Mike Birbiglia’s Secret Public Journal,” the Hollywood Reporter says.
