Fox’s request to reconsider the $91,000 indecency fine levied against 13 of its stations has been rejected by the FCC, according to Broadcasting & Cable. The FCC claims the network exceeded the page limit in its petition, which they say constitutes a procedural violation. Fox came under fire by the FCC after an episode of its reality show, “Married By America,” in which exotic dancers appeared. Initially 169 Fox stations were slapped with $1.18 million in sanctions, but the FCC later restricted the fines to stations where complaints had actually been filed. The FCC issued the fine on Feb. 22.
