The CW’s “Gossip Girl” is getting a super-sized second season to make up for the episodes lost during the writers strike, E! Online reports. Twenty-four new episodes will air next season, which could premiere as early as summer, the Los Angeles Times reports. Michelle Trachtenberg will come onboard as a regular next season, the newspaper says.
