L.A. Screenings for international TV buyers ended over the weekend with applause, the Hollywood Reporter says. Buyers were buzzing over an eight-minute presentation for Fox’s “Dollhouse,” while CBS Paramount’s “The Cleaner,” starring Benjamin Bratt, drew a positive response from Latin American buyers, the newspaper says. Canadian buyer CTV only bought shows for which there was a pilot, picking up “Eleventh Hour,” “The Mentalist” and “Fringe,” while rival CanWest Media bought “Dollhouse,” “90210” and “Harper’s Island,” the newspaper notes.
