Executives from NBC Universal, the Wall Street Journal, Nielsen Mobile and wireless content distributor Kyte at the MediaBistro Circus conference on Wednesday discussed the need for simplicity when it comes to mobile media, Online Media Daily reports. Executives also stressed the importance of extending audience interaction with mobile devices by using cross-promotion, such as NBC’s “bumper” promos leading viewers to more content online and on their mobile phones, the Web site says.
