New York Tax Breaks May Lure ‘Fringe’

New York state’s filming tax breaks may lure J.J. Abrams’ “Fringe” and new ABC drama “Life on Mars” to base production there, Daily Variety reports. ABC’s “Ugly Betty” moved production to New York from Los Angeles after the Empire state tripled its tax credit for production costs, the newspaper says.
