Ion Media Networks and the National Rural Telecommunications Cooperative have made a carriage deal, which will give rural subscribers access to Ion Television Network and its 24-hour digital networks, Multichannel News reports. The NRTC, an organization of more than 1,400 utilities and affiliates in 47 states, reaches more than 10 million homes, the newspaper notes.
