Channel One, the in-school network, has replaced its analog broadcasting infrastructure with digital receivers, MediaDailyNews reports. The transition to digital distribution was made possible by Alloy Media + Marketing, which purchased the broadcaster in April 2007 with plans to invest $12 million for digital upgrades, the Web site says. The early DTV transition gives advertisers more control and flexibility over their ad campaigns, the Web site notes.
