Public TV Head Iselin Dies at 74

Public television innovator John Jay Iselin died from pneumonia on Tuesday in Manhattan, the New York Times reports. Iselin was the president of the nation’s largest public television station, WNET, from 1973 to 1987, the newspaper says. He was 74.
