Tennis Channel, Berry Farm Promote Wimbledon

The Tennis Channel has partnered with California Giant Berry Farms to launch “The Sweetest Match,” Media Daily News reports. The promotional campaign refers to the strawberries-and-cream dish served at the Wimbledon tennis tournament, which will be broadcast on the Tennis Channel for the first time this summer, the Web site says. The campaign includes a sweepstakes for a trip to Wimbledon 2009, retail promotions and on-air spots about the strawberries-and-cream tradition, the Web site says.

  2. The strawberries is really sth special in Wimbledon. WOnder why nothing like that has been established at the other 3 grand slams
