Renewals Likely for CBS Series

May 5, 2008  •  Post A Comment

The broadcast networks seem likely to give many scripted series another chance despite lagging ratings following the end of the writers strike, the Hollywood Reporter says. Pickups for the CBS series “Moonlight,” “The New Adventures of Old Christine” and “How I Met Your Mother” look likely, the newspaper says. The forecasts for ABC’s “Boston Legal,” “Eli Stone,” “Women’s Murder Club” and The CW’s “Reaper” are more uncertain while the cancellations of the ABC series “Cashmere Mafia” and “October Road” seem imminent, the newspaper notes.
