“Scrubs” could continue for another year beyond its upcoming season on ABC, but it would return without series star Zach Braff and creator Bill Lawrence, TV Squad reports. ABC Entertainment President Steve McPherson has expressed interest in continuing the show for a ninth season, the Web site says. However, Lawrence said he is writing the upcoming eighth season as if it is his and the show’s last, the Web site notes.
