Stephanopoulos Puts Heat on Russert

The intense contest for the Democratic Presidential nomination is intensifying the Sunday morning battle between top rated “Meet the Press” with Tim Russert and upstart George Stephanopoulos of ABC’s “This Week,” the New York Times says. The hosts have similar backgrounds as Democratic campaign operatives and have both been criticized for being unfair to Democratic candidates.

  1. George is a truly brilliant person. Unfortunately he has been allowed to continue working for ABC News at a time when his lack of objectivity has become a serious issue.
He should be pulled off the air until AFTER the November Election. At that point and time he should be given the benefit of the doubt on a probationary basis to show he can be an observer and not a participant. If he wants the later, fine, go work for a campaign, or an Administration.
As I have commented before, he could be the Brinkley of this century. However, he is so deeply dipped into the Hillary soup that he has stained himself with a leaning that is anything but impartial.
    ABC News, are listening?
