Comedian Dody Goodman died on Sunday at Englewood Hospital & Medical Center in New Jersey, the Hollywood Reporter says. Goodman appeared on “The Tonight Show” with host Jack Paar and guest-starred on TV series including “Diff’rent Strokes,” “St. Elsewhere” and “Murder, She Wrote,” the newspaper says. She also played the mother on “Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman.” She was 93.

I worked with Dody Goodman on “MARY HARTMAN-MARY HARTMAN”. She was a wonderful, warm, real person as well as a good actress.
We had many talks about all aspects of life. She was enlightened, funny and a show-biz trooper.
