Katie O’Connell, who is in charge of drama at NBC, has been promoted to executive VP, TelevisionWeek reports. Since joining NBC in 2005, O’Connell helped develop the pilot for the network’s Thursday night comedy “30 Rock.” Previously at Imagine Television she worked on Fox shows “Arrested Development” and “24,” the paper says.
