Networks Lose Focus on Iraq NYT

Jun 23, 2008  •  Post A Comment

News coverage of the war in Iraq has significantly decreased during this past year, the New York Times reports, citing a report by TV consultant Andrew Tyndall. ABC, CBS and NBC have dedicated 181 minutes of coverage of the war this year to date, compared to 1,157 minutes total in 2007, Tyndall says. The cutback has frustrated the network correspondents remaining in Iraq, the paper says.
