The FCC is stepping in to make sure the public is aware of next February’s analog-to-digital TV transition by having high-ranking commission members participate in a series of public service announcements, TVWeek.com reports. The government group says it would like to spend as much as $32 million on a DTV ad campaign, though critics say the FCC is acting too late in the game, TVWeek says.
