L.A. Filming Jumped 26% in 2nd Quarter

On-location filming in the Los Angeles area jumped 26% in the second quarter from a year earlier as producers caught up from the writers strike and stocked up for a possible actors walkout, the Hollywood Reporter says, citing permitting agency Film L.A. Television shooting days surged 57% as TV drama production almost doubled, the newspaper says, citing the agency.
