Amazon.com will start a video-on-demand service that allows users to stream its inventory of about 40,000 television and movie titles, the New York Times reports. The service, available to a limited number of users for at least the next few weeks, replaces the Unbox video-download service the Internet retailer launched in 2006, the Times says.
