NBC Local Media has promoted Shawn Makhijani to VP of corporate business development, local media, and Mark Yackanich to VP of corporate strategy for local media, TVNewsday reports. The executives will work with NBC Local Media’s television stations, digital group, out-of-home division and LX.TV unit to identify new growth opportunities, the Web site notes.
