The Detroit Red Wings and the Chicago Blackhawks will face off New Year’s Day 2009 at Wrigley Field, the Associated Press reports. The game, which marks the NHL’s second Winter Classic, will be televised nationally by NBC, the wire service says. The last Winter Classic on New Year’s Day 2008 delivered the league’s best regular-season rating in more than a decade at a 2.6 overnight rating, TVWeek.com reported.

I’ll gear this review to 2 types of people: current Zune owners who are considering an upgrade, and people trying to decide between a Zune and an iPod. (There are other players worth considering out there, like the Sony Walkman X, but I hope this gives you enough info to make an informed decision of the Zune vs players other than the iPod line as well.)
