NBC’s “Today” show is increasing its lead as the morning news ratings leader over second place “Good Morning America” on ABC, the New York Times reports. “Today” jas talen the top spot for 655 consecutive weeks in a row, or over 12 years, the paper says. Although ABC sometimes narrows the gap (to as few as 200,000 viewers last October), NBC usually rebounds and is now averaging 1.2 million more viewers per week.
