Most of the writers for Fox’s upcoming animated series “Sit Down, Shut Up” are said to be in favor of a new deal offered by Sony Pictures TV, the Hollywood Reporter says. Although the new deal does not sign the writers to the series through Writers Guild of America union representation as the writers originally wanted, it is for the most part more generous than the previous deal, the trade paper says.
