Sony Pictures TV has named James Canniffe as its VP of development for alternative programming, the Hollywood Reporter says. Canniffe was a co-executive producer on CBS’ upcoming “Greatest American Dog,” NBC’s “The Apprentice” and The CW’s “Crowned,” the newspaper says.
