The Hollywood studios negotiating with the largest actors’ union took out an ad in the Los Angeles Times Monday headlined “The Deal: Let’s Keep Working,” the Associated Press reports. The ad highlights other deals the studios have struck with unions, and claims the three-year offer it has made to the Screen Actors Guild pays an extra $250 million and provides “groundbreaking” terms for new media. Meanwhile, SAG leaders got an enthusiastic response at a meeting attended by 700 people, Daily Variety reports.
