Verizon will shut off its analog signals in Maryland and northern Virginia beginning July 21, Multichannel News reports. The company already has eliminated analog service in New York, New Jersey and Massachusetts, the newspaper notes, as part of a deal with the FCC to make its FiOS service strictly digital.
