Whedon Reshooting ‘Dollhouse’ Pilot

The pilot of Fox’s ballyhooed new series created by Joss Whedon, “Dollhouse,” is being reshot, Television Week reports. Mr. Whedon said on a fan site that the pilot wasn’t the perfect template to introduce viewers to his concept. The show is scheduled to debut in January and Fox has sold it to advertisers in the upfront at a premium price because it will have half the commercial load of the network’s average program.

  1. When are we going to hear something about what this series is ABOUT? All I keep hearing is, OMG, Josh Whedon is doing another series and isn’t that great, and the network is all excited about it, and it should be a big hit, and now news that another pilot is being shot (totally unecessary since the network already BOUGHT the series.)
It’s already nearly August and we have heard practically no details about this series.

But VIEWERS haven’t bought it, and that is obviously the concern: what happens when a bad pilot goes on the air.
