The National Association of Hispanic Journalists will present its 2008 Broadcast Journalist of the Year Award to Jim Avila, ABC’s senior law and justice correspondent, TVNewser reports. He will be honored at the 23rd annual Noche de Triunfos journalism awards gala Sept. 12 at the National Press Club, the Web site notes.
