GM Cuts Include Emmys

Automaker General Motors is looking to save money by cutting the fees it pays its ad agencies and pulling out of ABC’s broadcast of the Emmy Awards, the Wall Street Journal reports. ABC has been a sponsor of the Emmys for about a decade. The automakers have been cutting their media spending, hurting companies that own television networks, the paper says.
