NBC is developing a U.S. version of a celebrity diner party show with Granada America, the Hollywood Reporter says. The series, tentatively titled “Celebrity Come Dine With Me,” will have celebrities host dinner parties judged by guests. Five episodes are being planned for a December airdate, with the top-scoring celebrity winning $20,000 for charity. The show’s format has already been successful in 16 other countries, the trade says.
