The delay of many new fall pilots and series is affecting other segments of the business, Daily Variety reports. Marketers have had little material to use to put together the fail promotional campaigns and TV critics are still in the dark as they prepare their fall previews, the trade paper says. The general frustration is an after-effect from the writers strike that delayed pilot production and also led many shows to begin earlier.
