PTC Warns Advertisers About ‘90210’

The Parents Television Council wants you to know the new CW drama “90210” isn’t for the kids despite the fact the network didn’t issue screeners to the public before its debut, MediaWeek reports. The PTC based its opinion of a-show-nobody’s-seen-yet on its displeasure of The CW’s “Gossip Girl,” warning advertisers the new show will also glamorize drug use, alcohol consumption, casual teen sex and, worst of all, casual teen sex with three or more participants. This can mean only one thing: plotlines having Brenda Walsh losing her virginity to Dylan at the Spring Dance carrying an actual episode for 48 minutes are so long gone.
