Oprah Winfrey is not the most powerful woman in the world, according to Forbes magazine, but she’s on the list, ranked 36th, ahead of Laura Bush, but well behind German chancellor Angela Merkel, who is in the top spot. Other TV people on the list include Meredith Vieira, No. 61; Katie Couric, 62; Barbara Walters, 63; and Diane Sawyer, 65.
