British research company Taylor Nelson Sofres continues to oppose being acquired by advertising giant WPP Group, seeking a higher price even after GfK of Germany dropped its bid, the Wall Street Journal reports. TNS chief executive David Lowden calls the $2.02 billion bid “cheap” and urged shareholders to put pressure on WPP.
