  1. Dear TVNewer,
I’m sure you won’t be disappointed with your audience share. When I first heard who McCain chose as his running mate, my thought was “Brilliant!” Then we I saw Palin, I knew it was brilliant.
I’ve always liked McCain and I truly feel he has great leadership qualities. I saw him in 2000 in Bakersfield, CA. I been waiting a long time to vote for him for President. It was worth the wait!

  2. Yes, when John McCain moves into the White House, he will definitely have Sarah Palin to thank for making it possible.

  3. This interview is sure to be a waste of time and programming. The only reason they(McCain and Rove) have allowed their puppet(sorry I mean Palin) to speak to Gutless Gibson it interview her is because they know he won’t ask any real thought provoking questions or challenge any of their lies and manipulations of fact and truth.

  4. Excerpts?!?!?!?!?!?! This is pathetic.

  5. This is disgusting. Charlie Gibson. What an obvious choice. They would never risk putting her is front of a journalist with integrity. Or at least one that wasn’t merely a pawn for the right. The reason they need so much time is so they can give her the questions in advance and she can have others write her answers. Then, if she screws anything up, she can correct it the next day. This “woman” deserves no deference. We have as much right to ask her real question, as she does to lie to our faces with her answers. If she can’t even face the predominantly right-leaning media (i.e., corporate owned media), how can she face the country, or the world? (That’s a rhetorical question, I already know the answer.)

  6. Wow! The lady has really shaken up the liberal world! Running scared and losing ground. McPalin ’08. Nobama!.

  7. It’s amazing that they aren’t planning to show the interview in its entirety. What are they afraid of? As for liberals running scared, I don’t buy that. Palin stands for everything that’s wrong in Washington. She claims fiscal responsibility while she blew through surplus budgets in Alaska, claims family values when her own home is in disarray, talks big about eliminating government earmarks but gladly accepts them, and would rather go on the attack than present a platform with some meat on it. I think in the end she will help Obama more than she hurts him. She is a shining example of what he hopes to change.

  8. Bubble, are you serious? They are ALL scared to death! Their biggest problem with Palin is the fact that she is not, and refuses to be, a VICTIM of her circumstances. She has too much going for her for them to handle. They are threatened…BY A WOMAN! Talk about bringing CHANGE to Washington…watch this!

  9. In the past I’ve always voted Republican, and I was so disillusioned when McCain got the nomination…I was planning on sitting this one out until he picked Palin. Now I can’t wait to vote.

  10. Joe, I know right where you are brother. I, too, was there. We have seen the light!

  11. McCain’s slogan is “Country First”. . . First of all it’s an insult to imply that people who are not republicans aren’t as patriotic as republicans they are. Second, picking Palin as the V.P. nominee is down right irresponsible. Sure she’s photogenic and personable but NO WAY is she prepared to be the leader of the free world and the most awesome military power the planet has ever known. To me the real question is: In the event that a “President McCain” is unable to serve,do you really want this self-proclaimed “hockey mom” as president of the United States of America?

  12. Let’s hope that Palin answers some serious questions. Her time in the spotlight has been some blind adoration from republicans without any substance to base it all on. She is far from ready and as pointed out earlier, is the real flip-flopper. Guess republicans don’t care about integrity, after all you have been the 30% supporting Bush the last 8 years.

  13. Fred- If picking Palin to be VP is “down right irresponsible”, then what would you call picking Obama to be President? I cannot believe that the Democrats put this guy at the top of the ticket. Then, to make it worse, he decides to pass over Hillary for VP. As a conservative, I will admit that if he had picked her this race would already be over. But he wasn’t even smart enough to do the obvious. As Palin pointed out, he has not authored one single piece of legislation, let alone run anything. Oh yeah, that’s right he is running his campaign. That’s like saying writing a resume qualifies you for the job.

  14. “As Palin pointed out, he has not authored one single piece of legislation”
    CAG –
During the first – 8 – eight years of his elected service he sponsored over 820 bills. He introduced
    233 regarding healthcare reform,
125 on poverty and public assistance,
    112 crime fighting bills,
    97 economic bills,
60 human rights and anti-discrimination bills,
    21 ethics reform bills,
    15 gun control,
6 veterans affairs and many others.
His first year in the U.S. Senate, he authored 152 bills and co-sponsored another 427. These included
    1. Coburn-Obama Government Transparency Act of 2006 – became law,
    2. Lugar-Obama Nuclear Non-proliferation and Conventional Weapons Threat Reduction Act, – became law,
    3. Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act, passed the Senate,
    4. 2007 Government Ethics Bill, became law,
    5. Protection Against Excessive Executive Compensation Bill, In committee, and many more.
In all, since entering the State/U.S. Senate, Senator Obama has written 890 bills and co-sponsored another 1096.
With that said I think we need less laws and regulation, not more. So I find the criticism from republicans about legislation creation ironic.

  15. CAG, right on! If I must have a “little experience” candidate, I’d much rather have it as VP than Prez!
As one who still agrees with our founding fathers’ principles and standards, liberalism is a MUCH bigger threat to our great nation that foreign terrorism!

  16. Klove, where’d you get your info from?!?!?

  17. Klove – His name is not on one of those bills as an author or co-author. If you want to say stuff like that you need to prove it. Give us your source. You said “During the first – 8 – eight years of his elected service he sponsored over 820 bills. He introduced
    233 regarding healthcare reform,”
Since 3-17-2005 the US Senate has voted on a total of 30 bills regarding healthcare issues. Are you telling us he sponsored all of those 30 bills and that in the Illinois State Legislature introduced another 203? Before you answer that you should note that he either did not vote, was excused, was absent, or voted present on 20 of those Senate bills. My source is: http://www.votesmart.org/voting_category.php?can_id=9490
    Whats your source?
He was too busy campaining to vote – especailly the last 19 months. Remember – he has been running his campain. That’s how he qualifies to be president.

  18. By the way, BHO was a “community organizer.” That really looks good on a resume, doesn’t it? (rhetorical question, don’t answer) Jesus was, AND IS, the Messiah. Why do liberals continue to attack Christianity? That WILL be their downfall this election season.

  19. our country is full of idiots.
sadly, our great country has seen it’s best days.
God bless America… (or will He?)
I pray McCain becomes president. God help us if he doesn’t… (and even if he does!)

  20. Susan, it’s not FULL of idiots. We have just let too many them slip into positions of power. We can’t afford to let liberals have any more power than they already have. In fact, we must remove those who have hijacked the America our founding fathers created for us. Those who still love our nation and its people must work hard to defeat liberal leftists and prevent them from holding public positions at ALL levels.
