The science behind Fox’s new series “Fringe” is being labeled as gross fiction by many scientists, USA Today reports. Gigi Kwik Gronvail, an immunologist, from the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center’s Center for Biosecurity, says she “watched the first 10 minutes of the pilot and was so grossed out I just couldn’t watch anymore.” Co-creator J.J. Abrams tells the newspaper “the point of he show is not to be a classroom film on the state of science and technology.”

  1. Wow, a show labeled as sci-fi turns out to be fictional. How shocking. Especially since legal, medical, and forensic shows never get anything wrong or make anything up.
