NBC will air a new muppets holiday special, “Letters to Santa—A Muppets Christmas,” later this year, the Hollywood Reporter says. Whoopi Goldberg, Tony Sirico, and Richard Griffiths, among others, have been tapped to star alongside Kermit, Ms. Piggy and the rest of the muppet gang, the Reporter says. The special will be produced by Muppets Productions and feature songs by Paul Williams.
