News Corp. chief Rupert Murdoch believes Fox News Channel is a core asset for the media giant, citing the network’s popularity and profit. In an interview with Esquire magazine, Murdoch says criticism of Bill O’Reilly is what leads to issues some people have with the network. While Murdoch says O’Reilly makes an effort to have a balance of guests on his show, attacks from MSNBC’s Keith Olbermann have been “way over the line,” he says. But, he adds, “Bill shouldn’t be so sensitive.”
