Obama Talks Palin on Letterman

Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama took time from his campaign for an appearance on the “Late Show” with David Letterman, the New York Times reports. During his interview Obama recognized the extra media attention Republican presidential candidate Sarah Palin has been receiving, including the attention that came after Obama’s “lipstick on a pig” comment. Obama took the opportunity to”throw a little campaigning in” as well.

  1. The latest poll of New Yorkers who believe Obama’s lipstick remark was aimed against Palin, as opposed to a gaffe or no big deal, was running 60% the last time I looked. Now we’re seeing prominent Democrats comparing Palin to Pontius Pilate (and Obama to Jesus) because she’s a “governor” — is that another item the liberal press will dislike covering, as they did with the lipstick story?
I guess the latest comparison includes Gov. Franklin D. Roosevelt and Gov. Bill Clinton.
