The Griffin Group Inc., founded by late talk show host Merv Griffin, is suing financially troubled “Tonight Show” legend Ed McMahon, the Associated Press reports. Griffin Group claims McMahon hasn’t repaid a $100,000 loan from 2005, according to the wire service. The suit, filed on Thursday, is seeking full repayment in addition to interest and attorney’s fees. When asked about the suit, McMahon’s publicist told the AP: “Anybody wanna buy a nice house in The Summit?” referring to his hilltop house facing foreclosure.

Hey, nobody loves Ed MaMahon more than I. But it’s time to pay the piper, Ed. Your house has been on the market a long time now. Time to move it and pay up. The rest of us have to! And frankly, if you don’t have $100K in cash, well…what the heck did you do with it all?
