Campaign’s End Leaves Local TV Hangover

The end of this presidential campaign will leave a big hole in the finances of local TV stations, the New York Times says. Even with $250 million in spending by Sen. Barack Obama, and the Olympics, it hasn’t been a great year for stations, meaning that next year could be really painful, the paper says.
